About Nate
Nate’s Full Name is Nathan Eulberg Steffenson. He is an
alumni of Onamia High School, Central Lakes College, and College of St.
Scholastica. Nate lived in Onamia Minnesota then moved to
Brainerd while attending College.
Nate’s noncomputer work included doing maintenance work at Onamia High
School, cleaning at a factory/office, and dishwashing at a restaurant.
Nate has 3 AAS majors as well as an AA degree from Central Lakes
College. The majors are Computer Information Technology, Computer
Network Administration, and Computer Programming.
Nate has a BA degree from the College of St. Scholastica majoring
in Computer Science/Information Systems with a management
concentration. He is CompTIA A+ certified.
Nate has had several internships with schools and
businesses. In his internships he did network support,
computer lab help, and design (and redesign) access databases. He
also did peer tutoring while attending college helping other students
with Java and JavaScript Programming.
Nate has done temporary employment and contract work. This
work included working at 4 major retailers and a major
bank. Helping install POS signature pads, Wireless barcode
scanners, network printers, Kiosks, setup new computers with monitors,
and image workstations. Also survey and examine
technology. He also did contract work replacing
computer parts for warranty at many homes and businesses.
Nate started doing business first with his web sites, mainly www.onamia.com - Onamia Area
Website. He started that in April 1999. The sites
included some news, basic information, free email, business listings,
and affiliate ads. Photography became part of the web site.
Nate has taken photos for his web site, for Onamia High School
Graduations since 2006, and Onamia High School All School Reunion in
2008.
In 2005 Nate started DVD transfers.
In 2007 Nate expanded his business to computer help to customers other
than contract naming it Nate’s Computer Services.
Nate enjoys using his computer, taking photos, jogging, biking, cross
country skiing, and spending time with friends. Nate
also helps out at his apartment building with newsletters and resident
parties.
